This summer has been full. Really full. Im not sure if a recap would leave you interested or exhausted, so Ill skip the details. Over the last few days my body has been slipping me not so subtle clues that I’m exhausted. I decided that taking an aside this evening and revisiting our vacation photos would provide a bit of refreshment. Even while I am writing this I hear the voice of efficiency . . . “shouldn’t you be editing wedding photos, or working on that clients design project, or finishing that college course you are taking, or developing that unfinished website, or . . . ??? You might be hearing the same voice right now. If so, consider this word with me – perspective.
When traveling I am constantly confronted with perspective. God has created this world with immense variety. While taking pictures in a place like San Francisco, I was amazed by the contrast that surrounded me. The personal and public, the natural and synthetic, the spiritual and secular. The camera was left behind for a few of the interesting places we went.
